Billy Chao died April 27, 2020 at his home in Watchung, NJ. He was 82.
He was born in Shanghai, China on September 20, 1937, a son to the late Nancy (Jen) and Pei Yung Chao. He moved to Tai Pei, Taiwan after the communist takeover in China, and then to Bologna, Italy. He then immigrated to the United States and resided briefly in Michigan, Queens, NY, and then Watchung, NJ since 1986.
Billy was the owner of Valley Sports in Stirling, NJ, and has still been involved, and is now Sport and Hound under his daughter's management.
He is survived by his wife Tu Tu (Wang) Chao, twin daughters Regina and her husband Alan Bataille and Selena and her husband Todd Hay, a granddaughter Skyela Hay, and 2 sisters Theresa and her husband C.K. Leung and Lily and her husband Douglas Wen and his brother Glen Chao.

I am so sorry to hear of Billy’s passing. I remember him so well & all of you. You were always all so very kind & genuine people. Thoughts & prayers are with you all. May he Rest In Peace as the angels welcome to paradise. God Bless you all.
