I didn't know Mr. Zoppi, Sr. personally, but I knew his son Phil and his family. Mr. Zoppi would come to his grandaughters softball games. He would sit on the bleachers with his wife and he seemed so proud of his grandaughter when she would pitch the ball or strike someone out. You could see the joy on his face. I will miss seeing him at the games.
